The Pandesal Story

Here at Pandesal Bakery, we delight in bringing you fine artisan breads. Our breads and pastries are handmade the old fashioned way.

Located in Meeniyan, just 1.5 hours from Melbourne, Pandesal Bakery was started by Stephen, an acclaimed baker with a passion to create a natural bread without preservatives or additives.

By using a long fermentation process, we achieve a bread with more flavour, using  only the basic ingredients: flour, water and salt. Sourdoughs are our focus – the process and fermentation can take up to 36 hours from start to finish.

We offer a great variety of sourdoughs, Turkish loaves, ciabatta, polenta, fruit loaves, spelt sourdough and many more. In fact, we have a different selection of breads and pastries made fresh every day.
